I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, Osaka City University. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Rochester.

My main research area is in the field of international relations. I have a special interest in the area of international institutions with a focus on analyzing the membership and agenda of the UN Security Council. I am also interested in conflict management and third-party intervention.
